Let others help you on your journey!
Joining a team
I just joined Team Beachbody for a free trial. My coach introduced me to a free 5 day accountability group on Facebook and it kicked my ass! I'm starting a 2 week program today and I am so excited to have access to Beachbody On Demand and all the programs!
Get in touch with a rep
Get in touch with me and I'll sign you up with my coach (she's absolutely amazing and empowering and incredible) or get in touch with someone you know to be a part of Team Beachbody or another workout / accountability group. I haven't heard of any others, and I did a lot of research on Beachbody before giving it a try. You can become a coach and make extra money on the side (which is my future goal) or you can join and pay a monthly fee to be let in on all the workout programs, nutrition pages, and all the other things that the website offers to members.
An accountability group helps
I'm lazy. I want to be healthy and active and feel incredible all the time, but I also want to lay around and eat snacks and sleep for 14 hours. I decided to make a commitment to being healthy and active. I'm relying on other people to push me to be held accountable for my workouts, nutrition, and hydration.
I downloaded the My Fitness Pal app and it's amazing but more often than not I forget to update it throughout the day, so I'm not seeing the real values of what I consumed throughout the day. During my 5 day accountability group I learned that when other people are pushing themselves and doing amazing, it motivates me to push myself and do amazing too!

Member benefits
They have so many benefits! I'm just getting started and it's just overwhelming how many programs there are and seeing the support of different coaches and teams rock out a week long program all together. There's plans for yoga, cardio, weight lifting, at home workouts, exercises that are modified, women building pregnancy workouts. There are meal plans, recipes, and shakeology sounds amazing. More to come once I begin taking it! Just knowing that there are a ton of options out there for everything you could imagine makes me excited to find the program that works best for me. To switch it up and get different styles of training.
Workouts
So right now I know that everyone just finished Shaun week. I wasn't a part of that, as I was doing the 5 day butts and guts fitness accountability group my coach put on for free. I'm now signed onto Beachbody and am going to be doing the sneak peak of the Shift Shop today, it comes out July 12th. Everyone in the group posts a sweaty selfie when they're done, a video of the workout / post workout, and they're always proud of themselves and feel accomplished, just like I do when I post!
Nutrition
There are so many different nutritional options when it comes to groups. They all post secret recipes they found or created using proteins and healthy fresh foods. They teach tracking nutrients and shakeology is a shake that is just incredible from what I've seen. It has all the nutrients your body needs on a daily basis, people have testimonies about how high their energy levels jumped from getting the proper nutrition.

Hydration
I watched a video saying that you are supposed to drink half your body weight in ounces of water a day. Which equals about 3 and a half bottles of water. Then I saw another video saying that is what's recommended but the best option for your body is to drink your body weight in ounces. Which is 7 bottles of water for me! I think on average I drink around 5-6 a day. I don't have circles under my eyes, my energy levels are always high, and I no longer get those stress headaches from dehydration. The love of the group
Everyone is so encouraging and positive. It's wonderful to be a part of a group of people all after the same goal, a healthier and happier lifestyle. There are people of all ages, body types, and activity levels. The best part is everyone coming together to work hard and push through the workouts and stay healthy and hydrated.
Join a team who encourages you to become the best version of yourself!
